Bio

Özlem Naciye Şahin was born in  İstanbul, 1977. She completed her Medical Faculty education in İstanbul University Medical Faculty, 2001; and started her Pediatrics Residency the same year in  Ege University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. She completed the Pediatrics  Residency programme in 2006. During  2007-2009 she worked at Bodrum State Hospital as part of her compulsory service. During 2010-2011 she studied Pediatric Allergy at Ege University School of Medicine Department of Pediatric Chest and Allergy. In  2012 she started working in Acibadem Group of Hospitals. Dr Sahin started Molecular Biology and Biochemistry  pHD programme, became a Lecturer in Acibadem University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics in 2015. In 2017 she was Asistant Professor, and in 2018 she was Associate Professor at the same department. She completed her pHD programme in September 2020. The main research areas of  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dr. Özlem Naciye Şahin, MD, pHD., mostly concentrate  on molecular and biochemical  aspects of pediatric health and diseases. She is interested in Turkish Classical Music and works in this field for about five years with State Artist and former Turkish Classical Music Choir Chief of Presidency, Prof Dr Nevzat Atlığ. Being  a member of Board of Directors in Karia Art Foundation in Bodrum, she participated in many of the grand stand of Turkish Classical Music Concerts in Bodrum Province led by Prof Dr Nevzat Atlığ.
