ÇOCUKLARDA SÜT DIŞI TEDAVILERI SIRASINDA UYGULANAN BILGISAYAR KONTROLLÜ ANESTEZI SISTEMI İLE KONVANSIYONEL İNFILTRATIF ENJEKSIYON ANESTEZI YÖNTEMININ KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Çalışmamızda çocuklarda bilgisayar kontrollü dental anestezi sistemi ve konvansiyonel enjeksiyon ile infiltratif lokal anestezi yöntemlerinin çocuk hastada oluşan kaygı düzeyleri ve ağrı açısından karşılaştırılması amaçlandı. Ege Üniversitesi Dişhekimliği Fakültesi Pedodonti Anabilim Dalı Kliniği’ne başvuran 8-10 yaş aralığında 40 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Her bir hastaya farklı seanslarda randomize olarak bilgisayar kontrollü anestezi cihazı Sleeper One® (Milestone Scientific, Livingston, USA) ve konvansiyonel enjeksiyonla infiltratif anestezi uygulandı. Her iki anestezi yöntemi öncesi enjeksiyon yapılacak bölgeye topikal anestezi uygulandı. Sleeper One için %2’lik Lidokain karpül, konvansiyonel enjeksiyon yöntemi için Jetokain ampül kullanıldı. Sleeper One için Intralig S iğneleri, klasik enjeksiyon yöntemi için Septoject iğneleri kullanıldı. Anksiyete düzeylerini belirlemek için başlangıçta Children’s Fear Survey Schedule-Dental Subscale (CFDS-DS), seanslarda ise Facial Image Scale (FIS), Spielberger’s State Anxiety Index for Children (STAIC) ve kalp atım verileri kaydedildi. Enjeksiyon sırasındaki ağrı oluşumunu değerlendirmek için Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) kullanıldı. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre Sleeper One® ile konvansiyonel enjeksiyon yönteminin çocuk hastalarda kalp atımı, STAI ve FIS değerlendirildiğinde benzer anksiyeteye neden olduğu sonucuna varıldı. Her iki yöntemde VAS değerleri karşılaştırıldığında Sleeper One® ile konvansiyonel enjeksiyon kıyaslandığında daha düşük bulundu. İki yöntem arasında oluşan ağrı değerlendirildiğinde anlamlı fark bulunmadı.
