Yoğun Bakım ve Ameliyathane Çalışanlarında Kas İskelet Sistem Ağrıları

Abstract

Amaç: Kas iskelet
sistemi bozuklukları (KİSB) hastane çalışanlarında mesleğe bağlı görülen en
önemli sağlık problemlerinden biridir. Biz bu çalışmada ameliyathane ve yoğun
bakım çalışanlarında eklem, ekstremite ve omurga bozukluklarını değerlendirip;
bu bireylerin günlük yaşam aktivitelerini, ilaç kullanım sıklıklarını,  dizabilitelerini ortaya koymayı amaçladık.



Gereç Ve Yöntem: Ameliyathane ve yoğun bakımda çalışan
65 personelin demografik özellikleri, mesleği, çalıştığı birim, çalışma süresi,
çalışma yılı, vücut kitle indeksi ve ayakta kalma süresi sorgulanmış ve
Genişletilmiş Nordic Kas-iskelet Sistemi Anketi doldurulmuştur.



Bulgular: Çalışanlarda sırasıyla bel, diz ve boyun-sırt ağrıları en sık saptanmıştır
(%66,2, %63,1, %53,8). Hastaneye yatışta sırasıyla boyun-sırt, kalça/uyluk, bel
ve omuz ağrısı önde gelmektedir (%8,6, %8,3, %4,7, %3,7).
Son 12 ay içinde ağrı nedeniyle normal ev veya ev dışı
aktiviteleri kısıtlılığına ve
ağrı nedeniyle ağrı kesici kullanımına bel, boyun ve diz ağrıları sıklıkla sebep
olmuştur. Son 12 ay içinde istirahat raporu kullanımında
ayak/ayak bileği, bel ve
kalça-uyluk ağrıları başı çekmektedir.



Sonuç:  Yoğun bakım ve ameliyathane çalışanlarında KİSB özellikle bel, boyun ve
diz ağrıları; ev ve iş aktivitelerinde kısıtlılık, doktora başvuru, ağrı kesici
kullanımında artış ve istirahat raporu kullanımında artışla beraber önemli bir
dizabilite kaynağıdır.

Musculoskeletal Pain Among Intansive Care And Operating Room Staff

Abstract

Purpose: Musculoskeletal disorders
(MSD) are one of the most important occupational

health
problems of hospital staff.
In this study,  we
aimed to evaluate joint, limb and spine disorders in operating room and
intensive care staff
to reveal the daily life activities, frequency of drug
use, and disability of these individuals.

 

Material And Method: Demographic
characteristics, occupation, department, duration of work, year of job, body
mass index and duration of standing were investigated and the Extended Nordic
Musculoskeletal System Questionnaire was completed by 65
operating room and
intensive care staff
.


Results:
Low back, knee and neck pain were the most frequent ones
in the employees (66.2%, 63.1%, 53.8% respectively). Neck, hip / thigh, low
back and shoulder pain are the leading cause of hospitalization (8,6%, 8,3%,
4,7%, 3,7% respectively).
In the last 12 months, use of
painkillers and limitation of home or out-of-home activities due to pain, often
caused from low back, neck and knee pain.
During the last 12 months, the sick leave  foot / ankle, low back and hip-thigh pains are
the leading ones.

 













Conclusion: In the intensive care
unit and operating room staff, the MSD is mainly characterized by waist, neck
and knee pain; It is an important source of disability with the increase in the
use of sick leave and limitation in home and work activities, referral to the
doctor, increase in the use of painkillers.
