Beyaz Gürültünün Bebek ve Yenidoğanlar Üzerindeki Etkileri: Uyku Kalitesi ve Ağrı Üzerine Bir Derleme

Abstract

Bu derleme, beyaz gürültünün yenidoğan ve bebeklerdeki uyku kalitesi ve ağrı üzerindeki etkilerini değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Beyaz gürültü, birçok farklı frekans aralığındaki seslerin karışımından oluşan monoton bir sestir. Günümüzde beyaz gürültü, uykuyu iyileştirme, yenidoğanlarda prosedürel ağrıyı azaltma ayrıca rahatlık ve huzur sağlama amacıyla çeşitli tıbbi tedavilerde, ev ve hastane ortamında yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Beyaz gürültü, bebekler ve yenidoğanlar için rahatsız edici sesleri engelleme veya ortadan kaldırma amaçlı olarak kullanılan bir ses türüdür. Bu nedenle, bebek ve yenidoğanların henüz düzenli frekans değişikliklerini ve hareketli sesleri filtreleme yeteneğine sahip olmaması durumunda, rahat ve düzenli bir şekilde uyumalarına yardımcı olabilir. Bu ses, uykuya dalma sırasında bebek ve yenidoğanlar üzerinde rahatsız edici seslere karşı koruyucu bir bariyer oluşturması amacıyla kullanılan, ilaçsız bir yaklaşımdır ve uyku kalitesini iyileştirmeyi hedefler. Literatürde yapılan araştırmalar, beyaz gürültü seslerinin fizyolojik parametreleri pozitif yönde etkilediğini ve ağlama sürelerini azalttığını göstermiştir. Ancak, her bebek ve yenidoğan için beyaz gürültünün etkisi farklı olabilir ve bazıları için rahatsız edici bir ses olarak algılanabilir. Daha fazla araştırma yapılması gerektiğine değinilmiştir.
