HAVALİMANI YER HİZMETLERİ ÇALIŞANLARINDA TEKNOSTRES VE İŞ PERFORMANSI İLİŞKİSİ

Abstract

Antalya Havalimanı yer hizmetlerinde çalışan 112 personelin katılımıyla yürütülen bu çalışma, teknostres ile iş performansı arasındaki potansiyel ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Günümüzün giderek dijitalleşen çalışma ortamında beklenenin aksine, çalışmanın bulguları bu iki değişken arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığını ortaya koymuştur. Katılımcıların orta düzeyde bir teknostrese sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuç, katılımcıların teknolojiye ilişkin bir dereceye kadar rahatsızlık veya endişe yaşadıklarını, ancak bu durumun aşırı derecede zarar verici bir seviyede olmadığını göstermektedir. Teknolojinin havacılık sektöründeki önemli rolü düşünüldüğünde, bu sonuçların oldukça kayda değer olduğu belirtilebilir. Çalışma sonuçları, iş performansı açısından daha da olumludur. Havacılık yer personelinin yüksek bir iş performansına sahip oldukları anlaşılmıştır. Bu da, görevlerini etkili ve verimli şekilde yerine getirebildiklerini göstermesi bakımından son derece önemlidir. Orta düzeydeki teknostres deneyimine rağmen bu yüksek performans sürdürülmüş, bu da teknostresin iş performansları üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olmadığı sonucunu güçlendirmiştir. Ayrıca, katılımcıların tanımlayıcı nitelikleri ile ölçek ortalamaları arasında da anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Özetle, bu çalışma, havacılık sektöründe teknostres ve iş performansı arasındaki ilişkiye dair içgörülü sonuçlar sağlamıştır. Katılımcılar tarafından rapor edilen orta düzeydeki teknostrese rağmen, iş performansları etkilenmemiş ve yüksek kalmıştır. Bu, havacılık yer personelinin, teknostresin işlerini olumsuz etkilemeden yönetmeye yönelik dayanıklılık veya başa çıkma stratejileri geliştirmiş olabileceği olasılığını düşündürmektedir.
