Abstract

Experiences and Perspectives of Nurses About Attendants in the Internal Medical Clinics Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the opininons and experiences of nurses who are working in Internal Medicine clinics about the attendants. Method: In this study qualitative research methods, descriptive qualitative design method was used. Sample of the study consisted of 16 nurses who are working Internal Medicine clinics at September 2011-February 2013 in a University hospital and purposive sampling method was used. In this study a semi structured interview form was used, this form created as a result of review of the literature. Results: As a result of the content analysis identified two main themes and three categories. The first theme is opinion about attendant in the clinic area, and the second theme is opinion about requirements for attendant. Conclusions: There are both positive and negative opinions and experiences of nurses about attendants. In the hospitals while studies procedures or performes, it should be considered nurses’ opinions and experiences about attendants.

İÇ HASTALIKLARI KLİNİKLERİNDE ÇALIŞAN HEMŞİRELERİN REFAKATÇİLER HAKKINDAKİ GÖRÜŞ VE DENEYİMLERİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı iç hastalıkları kliniklerinde çalışan hemşirelerin refakatçilerle ilgili görüşleri
ve deneyimlerini incelemektir.
Yöntem: Çalışmada niteliksel araştırma yöntemlerinden tanımlayıcı kalitatif tasarım yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmanın örneklemini, amaçlı örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak bir üniversite Hastanesi İç Hastalıkları
kliniklerinde Eylül 2011-Şubat 2012 tarikleri arasında çalışan 16 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada literatür
incelemesi sonucu oluşturulan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Yapılan içerik analizi sonucunda iki ana tema ve üç kategori belirlenmiştir. Birinci tema, Klinikte
Refakatçi Varlığına İlişkin Görüşler, İkinci tema, Klinikte Refakatçi Gereksinimlerine İlişkin Görüşlerdir.
Sonuçlar: Hemşirelerin refakatçilere yönelik olumlu ve olumsuz görüş ve deneyimleri bulunmaktadır. Bu
görüş ve deneyimler, refakatçilere yönelik yapılacak düzenlemelere katkıda bulunacaktır.
