Abstract

Death is a natural part of life and is inevitable. A good death is a process where all the variables in the process of death, as well as the place and time of death are under control, physical symptoms are managed, an individualized end-of-life care is provided, social participation occurs, and death can be planned and prepared. Diagnosing the patient's death within the planning process and an appropriate care is provided by ensuring comfortable.. In order to structure a good death, it is important to; identify the priorities in the care of a person who is about to die, establish a sensitive communication with the individual and her or his family, work with a multidisciplinary understanding of team, conduct interventions and drug management that would provide the patient comfort, remember that cultural and it is important to note that spiritual needs are part of care and to be aware of ethical issues related to death. Update the knowledge of health professionals on death and management; This issue should be given more weight in undergraduate and graduate programs.

Abstract

Ölüm yaşamın doğal bir parçasıdır ve kaçınılmazdır. İyi ölüm, ölüm sürecindeki tüm değişkenlerin, ölüm yerinin ve zamanının kontrol altında bulunduğu, fiziksel semptomların kontrol altına alındığı, kişiselleştirilmiş yaşam sonu bakımın verildiği, sosyal katılımın olduğu, ölümün planlanabileceği ve hazırlanılabilen bir ölümün gerçekleşmesi sürecidir. Ölüm sürecine giren hastanın tanılanması ve rahatının sağlanması ile uygun bir bakımın planlanması sağlanır. İyi bir ölümün yapılandırılabilmesi için; ölmek üzere olan bireyin bakımındaki öncelikleri belirlemek, birey ve ailesiyle hassas bir iletişim kurmak, multidisipliner bir ekip anlayışıyla çalışmak, hastanın konforunu sağlayacak girişimleri ve ilaç yönetimini yapmak, birey ve ailenin kültürel ve spritüel gereksinimlerinin bakımın bir parçası olduğunu unutmamak, ölümle ilgili etik konuların farkına varmak önemlidir. Ayrıca sağlık profesyonellerinin ölüm ve yönetimi konusundaki bilgileri güncellenmeli; lisans ve lisanüstü programlarında bu konuya daha ağırlık verilmelidir.
