İŞLETMELERDE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİĞİN SAĞLANMASINDA EKO İNOVASYON UYGULAMALARI: BİR MODEL ÖNERİSİ

Abstract

Sanayi devrimiyle artan enerji ve kaynak
ihtiyacı, hızlı kentleşme, artan tüketim alışkanlıkları, kirlilik ve atık
miktarı karşımıza sürdürülebilirlik sorununu getirmektedir. Çevre tahribatı ve
iklim değişikliğinin harekete geçmeyi gerekli kıldığı günümüz şartlarında işletmelerin
sürdürülebilirliği stratejik kararları arasına alması zorunluluk haline
gelmiştir.
Geleneksel uygulamalardan vazgeçmeyip ihtiyaç
duyulan dönüşümleri yapmayan işletmelerin yakın gelecekte önemli sorunlar
yaşaması ise muhtemeldir.
Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacı işletmelerde
sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanmasında eko inovasyon uygulamalarının rolünü incelemek
ve bir model önermektir. Bu amaç kapsamında literatür incelenmiş ve sürdürülebilirlik
endişelerine karşılık eko inovasyonun bir çözüm olabileceği belirlenmiştir. Stratejik
kararlar arasında eko inovasyonun önem düzeyi arttıkça işletmelerin
sürdürülebilirlik düzeyi de olumlu olarak etkilenmektedir.
