Tenisçilerde Teknik Performansın Cinsiyet Değişkenine Göre Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın
amacı tenisçilerde teknik performansın cinsiyet değişkenine göre
karşılaştırılmasıdır. Araştırmaya üniversite öğrencisi olan toplam 50 (E=25, K=25)tenisçigönüllü
olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan sporcuların tenis teknik seviyelerini
belirlemek amacıyla İnternationalTennisNumber (ITN) testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya
katılan deneklerin teknik özelliklerinin cinsiyetlere göre
karşılaştırılmasında, forehand ve backhand vuruş tekniği bakımından erkek ve
kadınlar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit
edilmiştir (P>0,05). Buna karşın, voleforehand, volebackhand ve servis
teknikleri bakımından ise erkek ve kadınlar arasında istatistiksel olarak
anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir (P<0,05). Sonuç olarak,
uygulama açısından daha basit ve kolay olan tekniklerde cinsiyet farklılığı
önem arz etmezken, zorluk derecesi biraz daha fazla olan teknik hareketlerde
erkek tenisçilerin daha ön plana çıktığı düşünülmektedir.
