Abstract
Amaç: İlkokul öğrencilerinin görme taraması aracılığıyla göz sağlığı sorunlarını belirlemektir.
Yöntem: Aralık 2011- Şubat 2012 tarihlerinde yürütüldü. Örneğe üç ilköğretim okulunun 1-5. sınıfl arda öğrenim gören 309 kız, 341 erkek öğrenci olmak üzere 650 öğrenci alındı. Verilerin analizi Statistical Packages of Social Sciences (SPSS) 11.0 programında sayı, yüzdelikler ve ki-kare testi ile değerlendirildi.
Bulgular: Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 9.1±1.3’dür. Tarama sonuçlarına göre toplam 100 öğrenci (%15) şüpheli olarak saptandı. Önceden kırma kusuru tanısı almış 31 öğrenci araştırmanın dışında tutulduğunda, %8 oranında (n=50) kırma kusuru şüpheli olgu, önceden şaşılık tanısı almış 7 öğrenci araştırma kapsamı dışında tutulduğunda %4.5 (n=29) oranında şaşılık şüpheli olgu ve %3.2 oranında (n=21) renk körlüğü şüpheli olgu saptandı. Renk körlüğü şüpheli olguların erkeklerde kızlara göre daha yüksek oranda görüldüğü saptandı (p<.05). Araştırma sonuçlarına göre şüpheli olarak saptanan tüm olgular hekim tarafından muayene edildi. Tarama ve hekimin muayene sonuçları arası uyum değerlendirildiğinde; kırma kusurlu olguların (n=50) %68’inin, şaşılık şüpheli olguların %82’sinin, renk körlüğü şüpheli olguların %71’nin doktor muayene sonuçlarıyla da uyumlu bulundu. Sonuç: Araştırma bulgularına göre okulda görme taramaları ile göz problemleri erken dönemde tespit edilebilir.

Abstract
Aim: Elementary school students to determine eye health problems through visual screening.
Methods: The research was conducted from December 2011 to February 2012. 1-5 Example of three elementary schools. 309 girls studying in class, 650 students were enrolled, including 341 male students. Data analysis Statistical Packages of Social Sciences (SPSS) 11.0 program number was assessed by percentages and chi-square test.
Results: The average age of the students was 9.1±1.3.A total of 100 students according to the results of the scan (15%) were found to be suspect. When the pre-refractive error had been diagnosed 31 students excluded from the study, 8% (n=50) refractive suspected cases, when excluded 7 students study had been diagnosed previously strabismus was 4.5% (n=29) the rate of strabismus suspected cases and 3.2% (n=21) were suspected cases of color blindness. Color blindness revealed higher rates seen in boys than girls suspected cases (p<.05). When vision screening and physician examination, cross compliance assessment; breaking the defective patients (n=50) 68% of the strabismus 82% of the suspected cases, color blindness 71% of suspected cases were found to be consistent with the results of the medical examination.
Conclusion: Eye problems can be detected early with the school vision screening according to the these findings. Keywords: Nurse, eye, vision screening
