Abstract
Antikoagülan tedavinin amacı tromboembolik olayların oluşmasını, oluşmuşsa tekrarını ve ilerlemesini önlemektir. Tromboembolik sorunları sıklıkla deneyimleyen nöroşirurji hastalarında, antikoagülan tedavinin önemi tartışılmaktadır. Antikoagülan tedavinin erken dönemde başlatılması; hemorajik komplikasyonlara, geç başlatılması ise tromboembolik olaylara yol açarak önemli sorunlara neden olabilmektedir. Antikoagülanların kullanıldığı durumlar kompleks ve yaşamı tehdit edici olduğundan, hemşire, hastanın tedaviye yanıtını izlemeli, sürekli değerlendirmeli ve kayıt etmelidir. İç-dış kanama belirti ve bulgularının izlemi tedavinin başlangıcında ve sürdürülmesinde de önemlidir. Ayrıca tromboembolizme neden olan hiperkoagülobilite durumlarının bilinmesi, erken tanılanması, gerekli girişimlerin planlanması ve uygulanması bireyselleştirilmiş hemşirelik bakımının temelini oluşturur. Bu derlemede, antikoagülan tedavi uygulanan nöroşirürji hastalarının bireyselleştirilmiş bakımı hemşirelik süreci yaklaşımı ile anlatılmaktadır.
