Abstract

Spigelian hernias are rare hernias, which occur lateral to the rectus abdominis through a defect in the linea semilunaris, the aponeuroses of the internal oblique and transversus abdominis muscles. The spigelian hernias representonly about 1-2% of all abdominal hernias. Here we describe a case of Spigelian hernia diagnosed by clinical and radiological findings and laparoscopic repair with an intraperitoneal onlay mesh İPOM method

Abstract

Nadir bir herni türü olan Spiegel herni rektus abdominisin lateralindeki internal oblik ve transvers kasların aponevrozlarının oluşturduğu linea semilunaris alanındaki defektten kaynaklanır. Tüm karın duvarı fıtıklarının %1-2‘sini oluştururlar. Çalışmamızda klinik ve radyolojik bulgular ile tanısı konulan ve laparoskopik olarak intraperitoneal onlay mesh İPOM metodu ile onarılan bir Spiegel hernisini sunmayı amaçladık
