Abstract
Yeni tip koronavirüs, 2019 yılının sonlarında Çin'de ortaya çıkmış, daha sonra birçok ülkeye yayılmıştır. Virüs, COVID-19 adlı oldukça bulaşıcı bir hastalığa neden olmaktadır. Hastalığın belirtileri ve seyri kişiden kişiye farklılık gösterebilmektedir. Özellikle yaşlılar ve kronik hastalığı olan bireyler bu hastalığa karşı daha fazla risk altındadır. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından pandemi olarak kabul edilen salgın, gebe kadınları da etkileyebilmektedir. Gebelik sırasında geçirilen enfeksiyon hastalıkları maternal ve fetal sağlık sorunlarına yol açabilir. Gebelikte COVID-19 seyri, tedavi ve bakımı ile ilgili literatür henüz kısıtlı olsa da yayınlara göre virüs gebelerde de diğer insanlara benzer tabloya neden olmaktadır. Ancak, bazı gebelerde erken membran rüptürü ve fetal distres gibi komplikasyonlar görüldüğü belirtilmiştir. Çalışmalarda en çok üzerinde tartışılan konulardan biri yenidoğanın emzirilip emzirilmemesi olmuştur. Gebelikte rutin ve acil obstetrik bakım, kesintisiz verilmesi gereken bir sağlık hizmetidir. Salgın sırasında sağlık profesyonellerinin bakımı sürdürürken hem kendi sağlıklarını hem de gebenin ve fetüsün sağlığını koruması gerekmektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı, hemşirelerin koronavirüslü gebelere verecekleri hemşirelik bakımı konusunda yol gösterici olmaktır.
