Abstract

When the populations formed by the organizations form bonds among themselves in line with their interests, they can interact with each other. Organizations are positively or negatively affected by each other. Negative influence can cause competition between organizations, while positive impact is beneficial. The research aims to uncover the functional relationship between two different forms constituting the same population. In this context, the study aims to reveal the nature of the interactions of populations with each other. When evaluating the thermal tourism centers in Afyonkarahisar, it is observed that various organizational populations exist and converge. We collected data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Directorate of Tourism, and local administrations to determine the population dynamics. We tested data with the Lotka-Volterra model. When we examined the statistical significance of the parameter estimates in the study, we revealed a mutualistic relationship between thermal hotels and timeshare properties in Afyonkarahisar.

Otel Devremülke Karşı: Turizm Sektöründe Topluluk Ekolojisi Bağlamında Bir Araştırma
