PERIODONTAL AND SYSTEMIC DISEASES: RESPIRATORY DISORDERS

Year 2021, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 32 - 40, 31.10.2021

Abstract

Respiratory diseases and periodontal diseases are observed in a large part of the society. With a better understanding of the pathogenesis of periodontal diseases, many links associated with systemic disorders are emerging. Periodontal diseases reveal a bidirectional relationship with many systemic diseases. The possible relationship between respiratory disorders and periodontal disorders has been the subject of research in recent years. In general, it has been revealed that there is a relationship between respiratory disorders and periodontal disorders.
This traditional review presents basic knowledge and possible relationships to service providers in the field of medicine and dentistry.

PERİODONTAL VE SİSTEMİK HASTALIKLAR: RESPİRATUAR RAHATSIZLIKLAR

Year 2021, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 32 - 40, 31.10.2021
