The present study examines the relationship between
job and life satisfaction among social workers in Bursa, Turkey. The survey was
administered with a representative number of social workers in Bursa (N=101). To
determine an association between the demographic characteristics of social
workers’ life satisfaction and job satisfaction, we performed a correlation
analysis and confirmatory factor analysis in SPSS and AMOS, respectively. Results
from the confirmatory factor analysis showed that there is a positive
relationship between social workers’ life satisfaction and job satisfaction,
such that (r = 0.39). Third model, GFI = 0.90 and CFI = 0.90, and the model
shows a good fit. Limitations and directions for research are discussed.
