Abstract

Denizli Karahayıt termal suları halk tarafından sağlık amaçlı kullanılan geleneksel kaplıcalardır. Bu çalışmada, sıvı buyyon besiyeri içeriğinde Karahayıt termal yer altı sularının kullanıldığı üç farklı besiyerinde üretilen iki Staphylococcus aureus kökeni (Atopik dermatitli bir hastanın lezyonundan izole edilen bir köken ve standartS.aureus ATCC 25925)’nin büyüme eğrileri, doğrusal olmayan eğri uyumu yöntemi ile analiz edilmişlerdir. Sonuç olarak, Karahayıt termal sularının S.aureus kökenlerine inhibitör etkisi saptanmamıştır.

Abstract

Denizli-Karahayit hot spring water is traditionally used on folk medicine. In this study, two Staphylococcus aureus growth curves (a strain isolated from atopic dermatitis lesions and standart S.aureus ATCC 25925) by three different Karahayıt thermal spring water as basal broth medium’s ingredients are analyzed with non-linear curve fi tting method. As a result, no inhibitory effect of Karahayıt thermal springs was observed on S.aureus strains.
