TELEVİZYON DİZİLERİNİN ve SALDIRGANLIK EĞİLİMİNİN SİBER ZORBALIK DAVRANIŞI İLE İLİŞKİSİ ÜZERİNE

Abstract

20. yüzyılın ortalarında insanların hayatına giren televizyon, yeni medya teknolojilerinin gelişmesiyle birlikte “geleneksel” medyadan sayılmış, ancak evlerdeki popülerliğini yitirmemiştir. Televizyonda yer alan şiddet içerikli dizilerin izleyiciler üzerindeki etkisi de, onun “büyülü” olarak görüldüğü ilk yıllardan bu yana araştırılan ve tartışılan bir konudur. Şiddet içerikleri tüketmenin neden olabileceği toplum içerisindeki saldırgan davranışlar, günümüzde yeni medya ile kendilerine daha korkusuzca sergilenebilecekleri platformlar edinmişlerdir. Bu çıkarımın doğruluğunu tespit edebilmek adına yapılan bu çalışmada, kişilerin saldırganlık eğilimlerini ve siber zorbalık eğilimlerini ölçecek anketlerin yanında, televizyonda en çok izledikleri üç dizinin ismi sorulmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, katılımcıların saldırganlık eğilimlerinin orta düzeyde, siber zorbalık eğilimlerinin ise genel olarak düşük olduğu bulunmuştur. Elde edilen diğer sonuçlar, detaylı olarak sonuç bölümünde tartışılmıştır.
