AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ ve TÜRKİYE’NİN ENERJİ GÖRÜNÜMÜ (1990-2018): NE DEĞİŞTİ

Abstract

Yenilenebilir enerji; rüzgar, güneş, biyokütle, yağmur vb. doğal kaynaklardan elde edilir. İnsan ömründen çok daha kısa sürede kendisini yeniler. Dünyanın kaynaklarını tüketmez ve en önemlisi iklime ve çevreye zarar vermez. Sürdürülebilir kalkınma için dünyada fosil yakıt kullanımını bitirmek ve yenilenebilir enerji kullanımını oransal olarak arttırmak gerekmektedir. Ancak 1990 sonrası veriler fosil yakıt kullanımında bir azalma ya da yenilenebilir enerji kullanımında oransal bir artışı işaret etmemektedir. Bu bağlamda vergi politikalarının temiz ve yenilenebilir enerjiyi teşvik etmek üzere yaygın kullanımını önemlidir.
