Postmenopoz Dönemdeki Kadınlarda Sağlık İnanç Modeli Temelli Kısa Görüşmelerin Osteoporozdan Korunma Bilgi, Tutum ve Davranışlarına Etkisi

Abstract

Osteoporoz,
günümüzde gittikçe artan ve toplumun büyük bir kesimini etkileyen önemli bir
halk sağlığı problemidir. Uluslararası Osteoporoz Vakfına (International
Osteoporozis Foundation) göre, dünyada 34 milyon kişinin osteoporoz hastalığı
ile karşı karşıya olduğu tahmin edilmektedir. Osteoporozun en önemli
komplikasyonu kırıklara neden olmasıdır. Özellikle kalça kırığı yaşayanlarda
mortalite oranı ilk iki yıl içinde %12-20 dir. Dünya’da osteoporozdan etkilenen
kişilerin yaklaşık olarak %40’ını postmenopoz dönemdeki kadınlar
oluşturmaktadır. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından osteoporoz mortalite ve
morbidite açısından, postmenopoz dönemdeki kadınlar için kardiyo-vasküler risklerden
sonra ikinci sırada gösterilmektedir. Osteoporozdan korunma, birinci basamak
sağlık hizmetleri içinde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Hemşirelerin
postmenopoz   dönemdeki kadınların   sağlık
inançlarında olumlu davranış değişikliği oluşturmak amacıyla planlanmış sağlık
eğitim çalışmaları bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmalarda kadınların diyette kalsiyum
alma oranında, egzersiz yapma davranışlarında   olumlu
gelişmeler olduğu belirtilmektedir. Birinci basamak sağlık hizmetlerinin
yürütülmesinde hemşirelerin hizmet verdiği gruplara kaliteli zaman ayırma
konusunda sınırlılıklar yaşayabileceği düşünülmektedir. Hemşireler aile hekimliğini sık kullanma
olasılığı bulunan postmenopoz dönemde ki, kadınları, osteoporozdan koruyabilmek
için    onların sağlık inanç ve tutumlarını
belirleyebilir özellikle beslenme, egzersiz yapma güneşlenme gibi  kemik sağlığını korumaya yönelik bilgi ve
davranışları konusunda motive edebilirler.

of Nurses at Osteoporosis, Prevention from Osteoporosis and Health Belief at
Postmenopausal Woman

 

Osteoporosis
is a very important public health problem which effects vast majority of
population and it’s incidence increases nowadays.According to International
Osteoporozis Foundation 34 million people around the world are facing risk of
osteoporisis.Most importanrt complicaiton of osteoporosis is bone
fractures.Especially  mortality of hip
fractures is %12-20 in two years.In the world %40 of people who effected by
osteoporosis are post menopausal women.Osteoporosis has the second highest
mortality and morbidity rate  after
caridovascular risk factors according to WHO. Protection from osteoporosis has
a big part at primary care health services.In this researches it is found that
;calcium intake by diet,exercising behaviours,health belief are improved. It is
thougt that nurses may have limitations at quality time spending with patients
at primary care health services. Nurses have public health researches which aim
creating positive health  belief changes
at postmenopausal women.Nurses can
motivate  patients ,who often visit
family physician at preventing osteoporosis, improving
diet,exercising,sunbathing,determining health belief, health attitudes and
teach them bone health proteciton.
