WEBER TESTİNDE KULLANILAN SAF SESLERİN PATOLOJİ YÖNÜNÜ DOĞRU BELİRLEME ORANLARININ ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Amaç: Odyometrik weber testinde frekans bazında lateralizasyon doğruluk yüzdelerinin güvenilirliğini belirlemek için bu çalışmada 250 ile 4000 Hz arasında bilateral iletim tipi işitme kayıplı yetişkinlerde lateralizasyon doğruluklarının karşılaştırılmıştır.
Metod: Bilateral iletim tipi patolojisi olan 18-45 yaş arasında (64K-72E) 136 bireye saf ses odyometri ve Weber testleri yapılmıştır. Frekanslar arası lateralizasyon doğrulukları karşılaştırılmıştır.
Sonuçlar: Frekanslar arası doğruluk oranları Cochran Q testi ile karşılaştırılmış olup Weber testinde frekansların patoloji yönünü doğru belirleme açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık elde edilmiştir (p<0.05). Patoloji yönünü belirlemede doğruluk oranı Mc Nemar testi ile karşılaştırıldığında 1000-2000 Hz hariç diğer frekanslarda (p=0.01) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark elde edilememiştir(p>0.05).
Öneriler: Patolojileri doğru belirleme oranı en yüksek 1000Hz’de, en düşük ise 2000 Hz’dedir. 250 Hz lateralizasyon doğruluğunda ikinci yüksek değerdir. Saf ses odyometri sonuçlarını doğrulamak için odyometrik weber testinin 1000 Hzdeki yüksek doğruluk oranı göz önünde bulundurarak 250 Hz dahil olmak üzere diğer odyolojik testlerle birlikte yürütülmesi önerilir.
