ERGENLERDE KORKU DÜZEYİ İLE SOSYODEMOGRAFİK DEĞİŞKENLER ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, ergenlerde korku düzeyi ile sosyodemografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma İstanbul ili Avcılar ilçesinde yer alan farklı tür liselerde öğrenim gören 475 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, korku düzeyi korku tarama ölçeği ile, sosyodemografik bilgiler kişisel bilgi formu ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda kız ergenlerin erkek ergenlere göre korku düzeyinin daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Buna karşılık ailenin gelir durumlarına göre korku tarama ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından tehlike ve ölüm korkusu ve yaralanma korkuları puanlarının orta gelirlilerin üst gelirlilere göre daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Anne ve baba eğitim durumlarına göre korku puanlarında eğitim düzeyi düştükçe korku puanlarının yükseldiği görülmüştür. Ergenlik dönemi korku düzeyinin, gelişimin kritik bir parçası olduğu ve belirtilen sosyal değişkenler ile ilişkili olduğu düşünülmüştür.
