Çalışmamızda bilateral olarak arteria brachialis’ten yüksek orijin alan arteria radialis varyasyonunun sunulması amaçlanmıştır.Anatomi laboratuvarımızda rutin eğitim diseksiyonu esnasında formaldehit ile fikse edilmiş 45 yaşında erkek kadavrada arteria radialis’in bilateral olarak arteria brachialis’ten yüksek orijin alarak başladığı gözlenmiştir. Her iki taraftaki arteria radialis humerus’un proksimal 1/3’ü seviyesinde, arteria brachialis’ten orijin almaktaydı. Her iki tarafta da humerusun 1/3 üst ve orta kısmında nervus medianus’un medial kısmında seyrediyordu. Humerus distal 1/3’ü seviyesinde ise arteria radialisler nervus medianus’un yüzeyelinden onu çaprazlayarak lateraline geçmekteydi. Arteriaradialisler ön kolda normal seyrinde devam etmekteydi.Sunulan varyasyonun bilinmesinin tanıda, kardiyak katetetrizasyon, arteriyel greft ve diğer anjiyografik prosedürlerde radyologlara, cerrahlara ve diğer klinisyenlere yararlı olacağını düşünüyoruz.

The aim of this study is to present dissection findings of variational high origin of the radial artery in a male cadaver. During routine dissection in our laboratory, the high origin of the radial arteries were observed in a formaline-fixed 45 years old male cadaver, bilaterally. The radial arteries arose from the brachial arteries at the level of proximal 1/3 of the humeri. Radial arteries were on the medial side of the median nerves at the proximal 1/3 and the middle parts of the humeri. Radial arteries were running superficial and crossing lateral to the median nerves at the level of the distal 1/3 of the humerus. The radial arteries continued in the usual course in the forearms. We consider that the knowledge of this variation might be beneficial in diagnostic procedures, cardiac catheterization, arterial grafting and other angiographic practices to radiologists, surgeons and other clinicians.
