Öz
Choanal atresia is total obstruction of posterior choanae which maintains the passage between nasopharynx and nazal cavity. Being an emergency airway obstruction problem in the newborn period it had to be corrected urgently and the airway had to be opened under proper conditios. Having special considerations both in anesthesia and surgical techniques, the anesthetic management of two cases with bilateral choanal atresia is reviewed

Öz
Koanal atrezi, nazofarenks açıklığını sağlayan posterior koanannın unilateral veya bilateral olarak total obstrüksiyonudur. Yenidoğan döneminde acil müdahele ile düzeltilmesi gereken ve hava yolu obstruksiyonuna yol açabilen bir durum olduğundan uygun şartlarda hava yolunun açılması gereklidir. Anestezi ve cerrahi açısından özellik taşıyan bilateral koanal atrezili iki olgu aracılığı ile bilateral koanal atrezide anestezi yönetimi gözden geçirilmiştir
