The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly affected global economic and social life, as well as its medical consequences. This effect also manifested itself in the work culture and paved the way for the formation of new trends and concepts. One of these concepts that has been expressed in recent years is quiet quitting. Although quitting the job is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to resignation, this is not the case in quiet quitting. This concept is discussed from many perspectives, especially organizational behavior, management, human resources, psychology and labor economics. Multidisciplinary research tries to determine the relationship between silent resignation and concepts such as burnout, workplace violence, mobbing, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship in different sectors. However, no study has been found on quiet quitting in the health sector in Turkey. In this context, the aim of the study is to raise awareness about quiet quitting which is considered a new concept, and to evaluate its effects in the health sector. In order to provide effective and efficient service in the labor-intensive health sector, it is necessary to identify the reasons for quiet quitting, clearly state the roles and responsibilities of the staff, offer career opportunities, establish good communication with the staff, ensure working peace and organizational commitment.
