Evaluation of Sexual Functions In Pregnancy

Abstract

Objectives: This research is a study in descriptive study to assess sexual function during pregnancy. Study Design: This study carried out in primary health care facilities in Aksehir. After receipt of regulatory approvals, 1 April to 31 May 2010 between the randomly selected 200 pregnant volunteers participated in this study. Using the technique of face-to-face interview data and the Female Sexual Function Index questionnaire IFSF were collected with the help. Results: The mean age of 25.7 ± 5.6 were included in the study of pregnant women. Pregnant women is 20.5% of the first, 35% second, 44.5% in the third trimester was determined. 65% of pregnant women reported a decrease in frequency of sexual intercourse during pregnancy. According to the statistical analysis trimester pregnant women were not a change in incidence of sexual intercourse p>0.05 . The idea of having sexual intercourse during pregnancy will harm the baby rate of 59% of pregnant women. With this in mind during sexual intercourse during pregnancy 45.5% of those who went to change positions, change the position of respondents to the question of what rate is 27% 8% in the classic, side-lying position is 7%, prostrate position 7%, sitting position of 5% .
