Basaloid Squamous Cell Carcinoma of The Larynx Expressing Synaptophysin: Case Report

Abstract

Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma BSCC is a rare, aggressive, high grade histologic variant of squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx. Almost all BSCC cases reported in the literature are immuhistochemically negative for synaptophysin.
