Anterior Tibial Artery Pseudoaneurysm and Cutaneous Fistulization Following Exterior Vehicle Traffic Accident

Abstract

Pseudoaneurysms of the anterior tibial artery are rare vascular disorders. Etiology is a penetrating trauma in most of the cases. Pathology is usually treated with surgical measures by resection of the pseudoaneurysm and ligation of the anterior tibial artery. In this report, we present a 22-year-old male patient in whom anterior tibial artery pseudoaneurysm developed after an exterior vehicle traffic accident and who was treated by resection of the pseudoaneurysm together with arterial reconstruction
