Luteal Faz Desteği Başlama Zamanlarının Randomize Karşılaştırılması

Year 2010, Issue: 4, 185 - 187, 01.12.2010

Abstract

Randomize kontrollü çalışmamızın amacı luteal faz desteğinin başlamasında farklı zaman sürelerinin in vitro fertilizasyon IVF siklüslerinde klinik sonuçlar üzerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Ardışık 180 IVF siklüsünün 92’si A grubu, 88’i B grubu olarak düzenlendi.

RANDOMIZED COMPARISON OF THE TIMING FOR INITIATION OF LUTEAL PHASE SUPPORT

Year 2010, Issue: 4, 185 - 187, 01.12.2010

Abstract

The purpose of the current prospective randomized controlled study is to investigate whether the different time periods for the initiation of luteal phase support modify the clinical outcomes in in vitro fertilization IVF cycles. Out of 180 consecutive cycles, 92 were assigned to group A and 88 were assigned to group B. In group A, luteal phase was supplemented with intravaginal micronized progesterone starting right after the follicular puncture, while in group B, the same dose was started intravaginally 48 hours after the oocyte retrieval. The clinical pregnancy rate per transfer and implantation rate per embryo were similar in groups A and B 34.8% and 35.4%, p:1.00; 13.8% and 15.3%, p:0.59; respectively . Abortion rates were also comparable between the two study groups. Initiation of the progesterone supplementation either on the day of oocyte retrieval or 48 hours later does not alter clinical outcomes in IVF cycles
