Abstract
The trauma experienced during the pregnancy period causes injuries or fetal or maternal death depending on its intensity. The most common causes of trauma include especially motor vehicles injuries related to not fastening the seat belt, assault, falling, burns, domestic violence, adolescent motherhood

Abstract
Gebelikte görülen travma, şiddetine göre maternal ve fetal ölümlere ve sakatlanmalara neden olmaktadır. En sık karşılaşılan travma nedenleri arasında özellikle emniyet kemerinin takılmadığı motorlu araç yaralanmaları, saldırı, düşmeler, yanıklar, aile içi şiddet, genç yaşta annelik < 25 yaş , madde kullanımı ve düşük sosyo-ekonomik durum yer almaktadır. Travma sonrası oluşan plasenta dekomanı , fetal yaralanma, erken doğum ve erken membran rüptürü, plasental laserasyon, maternal şok, uterus rüptürü ve DIC fetal ölümlere neden olmaktadır. Acilde veya travma merkezinde gebeyi karşılayan ekip içerisinde Acil Hekimi, Travma Cerrahı, Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Hekimi, Yenidoğan Uzmanı, Radyolog ile Yenidoğan ve Doğum Hemşiresi bulunmalıdır. Travma sonrası birincil bakımda gebenin hava yolu açıklığı, solunum ve kanamanın kontrolü sağlanmalı, kan kaybı yerine konmalı ve hayati belirtiler düzenlenmelidir. İkincil olarak ise ayrıntılı fizik değerlendirme, laboratuar testleri, görüntüleme testleri ve tıbbı tedavi yapılmalıdır.
