Abstract
Objective: This study was planned to evaluate the relationship between the results of the Language Assessment Test for Aphasia and the level of ambulation and functional independence in aphasic individuals. Patients and Methods: The medical records of individuals who have speech disorders after stroke were reviewed and demographic data and information about the disease were recorded. In determining the level of functional independence of individuals; Functional Independence Measure FIM , determining the level of ambulation; Functional Ambulation Scale FAS and Language Assessment Test for Aphasia ADD were used in the evaluation of aphasia. Results: The mean age of the subjects were 57.4±8.8 years, 11 23.4% female and 36 76.6% male. There was a statistically significant negative and moderate correlation between age and ADD scores p

Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışma; afazili bireylerde Afazi Dil Değerlendirme Testi sonuçları ile ambulasyon düzeyi ve fonksiyonel bağımsızlık arasındaki ilişkinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla planlandı. Hastalar ve Yöntemler: İnme sonrası konuşma bozukluğu şikayeti bulunan bireylerin dosyaları incelenerek demografik veriler ve hastalık ile ilgili bilgiler kaydedildi. Bireylerin fonksiyonel bağımsızlık seviyesinin belirlenmesinde; Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçeği FIM , ambulasyon düzeyinin belirlenmesinde; Fonksiyonel Ambulasyon Skalası FAS ve afazi değerlendirmesinde Afazi Dil Değerlendirme Testi ADD kullanıldı. Bulgular: Bireylerin yaş ortalamaları 57.4±8.8 yıl olup, 11’i %23.4 kadın ve 36’sı %76.6 erkekti. ADD puanları ve yaş arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı negatif orta düzeyde korelasyon saptandı p
