A significant negative correlation was found between the total score mean of the Individual's Consanguineous Marriage Attitude Scale and the total and all sub-dimensions of the Health Literacy Scale (p<0.05). A significant positive correlation was found between the total score mean of the Consanguineous Marriage Attitude Scale and the total score mean of the Fatalism Tendency Scale and age (p<0.05). A significant negative correlation was found between the Health Literacy Scale Total Score Mean and age (p<0.05).
Conclusion: In our study, it was found that the attitude of the baby boom generation towards consanguineous marriage was higher, the health literacy level of the Z generation was higher, and the fatalism tendency of the X generation was found to be higher.
