1. Turkish and English articles will be published in the journal.

2. Turkish manuscripts must comply with the spelling rules of the Turkish Language Institution.

3. Manuscripts must not have been published anywhere before. If it has been presented in any congress, this article should be marked by placing a star in the title and marking with an asterisk on the cover page, indicating the name, date and place of the presented congress.

4. After the article sent to the journal for publication is accepted, all copyrights belong to the journal.

5. All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editors of the Journal of Health Academics in terms of form and content, it is generally decided whether they are worth publishing in the journal, and then they are sent to 2 (two) referees from the Scientific Advisory Board. Manuscripts that do not comply with the publication principles will not be sent to the referees.

6. Which article will be sent to which referees is decided according to the interests of the referees and the articles. The authors are not informed about the identities of the referees who evaluated the article, and the referees are not informed about who the submitted article belongs to. Referee reports are confidential.

7. In case of positive opinion from the two referees to whom the article was sent, the article is queued for publication. In case of negative opinion from both referees, the article will not be published under any circumstances. If two referees give different opinions, the article is sent to a third referee; According to the response of the third referee, it is decided to publish or not to publish. According to the reports from the referees, it is decided whether to publish the article as it is (acceptance), to request correction, addition or removal or not to publish (rejection), and this decision is notified to the author or authors.

8. In the event that the referees express their opinion in the direction of correction, the author is consulted and the author is requested to complete the necessary corrections and send it. No changes can be made to the manuscripts sent back for correction without the requests of the referees and the editor. Corrected articles are not published unless they are corrected within the period specified by their author or authors. Articles that are not corrected and sent by the author within 6 days are rejected by the system.

9. Manuscripts should be written in Microsoft Word and sent with tables, figures, graphics and photographs.

10. Manuscripts must be accompanied by a letter stating that the manuscript has been read and approved by all authors and has not been published elsewhere or sent for publication.

11. The name of the authors should not be included in the article file content uploaded to the system. The names and other information of the authors will be given on the title page.

12. In studies that require ethics committee approval from research articles, ethics committee approval should be uploaded to the system separately as an appendix to the article.

13. Works should not exceed 20 pages, including pictures and tables.

14. Manuscripts should be written in 12p Times New Roman font. Writing paper layout should be left in A4 size, 3 cm from the left, 2 cm from the right, and 2 cm from the top and bottom of the page.

15. References to the bibliography should be in the form of "ISO 690 - Numerical Application".



Matters to be Considered in the Preparation of the Article

Title of the article: The title should reflect the content of the article. However, it should not be longer than 12 words.

Authors: Author names will not be included in the manuscript. The full names, academic degrees and institutions of the authors should be written in the article upload system during registration.

Contact Address: The names of the authors to be contacted will not be included in the article. The names, title, surname, contact address, e-mail address of the author to be contacted should be specified in the article upload system during registration.

Abstract Page: Abstract: A brief summary of the main parts of the article should be given in this section. The abstract should be prepared in Turkish and English. The abstract should not exceed 250 words. Abstract section In research articles, it must be; Introduction and aim should be given under the titles of Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion.

Keywords: At least 3 and at most 5 keywords in accordance with Index Medicus should be included after the Turkish and English abstracts.



Research Papers:

Main Text: Research articles should be written in the traditional form, which is introduction and purpose, materials and methods, findings, discussion and conclusion, references and tables and figures. The main text (excluding the abstract, tables and figures, references) should not exceed 3000 words.

The introduction should provide enough information to allow the reader to understand and evaluate the results of current studies without needing to look at previous publications on the subject. In addition, the introduction should state the requirements, rationale, and short- and long-term goals of the study.

The Materials and Methods section should be written in such detail that other researchers can repeat the study. Therefore, the method should be written in all its details. Observation techniques, questionnaires, and other forms of measurement used should be described, and data acquisition methods and experimental groups should be defined. It should be stated how the statistical evaluation of the data was made. If classical methods have been used and no changes have been made in the method, only the name of the method and the source from which it was taken should be given.

In the findings section, the data obtained in the research should be explained in a certain logical-analytical integrity and flow, by giving figures and tables. It is necessary to analyze the data with appropriate statistical methods. If necessary, figures, photographs and similar images can be used.

The discussion should be done in a way that includes the main topics given below.

Summary of the main findings of the study,
Strengths and limitations of the study,
Literature comparisons of the obtained findings,
It should include the possible implications of the findings for future studies and practice.
Tables and figures: The number of tables and figures in the article should not exceed six. Tables and Figures should be numbered in the order in the text, associated with the text, have a title, and if they are quoted from somewhere, the source should be indicated below.

Note: At the end of the article, in the section before the bibliography; Contribution rate statement, support and acknowledgment, if any, and conflict statement should be included.



Review Articles:

There should be articles that reveal the basic views on the subject examined, examine the analyzes on which these views are based, and on which the author reaches a conclusion. It should not be longer than 4000 words. The author should have the instinct to give the readers basic information about the subject.

Brief Report:

Guidelines for original articles will remain the same, with exceptions.

Letter to the Editor:

These are the articles that include the discussions about both the content and the stylistic features of the articles published in the journal and the contributions of the reader. Congress, Symposium, Panel Papers or Reports: These are the papers or reports made at the end of scientific activities that fall under the publication principles of the journal.

In-text Citation:

References to sources within the texts of the articles should be in the form of "ISO 690- Numerical Application". For example like (1). Citation numbers should start from 1 and end with the number equal to the total number of references.

Resources:

Every reference cited in the article must be in the References directory. References should be numbered according to the order in the text, journal names should be written without abbreviation. The number of references should not exceed 50 in original studies, 20 in case reports, and 80 in reviews. If more than one source is cited: (1, 5, 12-16). Authors should not use less than 10 references.

Here, “12-16” covers 5 publications from source 12 to source 16.

Double quotes (" "), italics, plagiarism rate of more than 20% excluding journal template and bibliography will result in a RET of the work. The filtering options in the iThenticate program should be set as follows:

- Bibliography excluded.

-Quotes excluded (Quotes excluded).

- Except for parts of text that overlap less than five (5) words (Limit match size to 5 words).

-Other filtering options in the program menu cannot be included in the reporting.

-The report should be saved as ".pdf" extension.
