Methotrexate Treatment of Cornual Pregnancy With Fetal Cardiac Activity: a Case Report and Review of Literature

Cornual pregnancy is a rare type of ectopic pregnacy, it has the highest mortality-morbidity among ectopic pregnancies. Since there is no optimal treatment stategy or consensus, there is only sharing of experiences with case or cases series reports. In this paper, a 21 year old woman, G:2, P:1, A:0 with right cornual pregnancy was presented. Although fetal cardiac activity was positive, two doses of methotrexate treatment were given since the patient wanted to preserve her fertility. There were no treatment complications. The aim of this paper was to discuss the diagnosis and treatment protocols of cornual pregnancy regarding this case

Fetal Kardiyak Aktivitesi Olan Kornual Gebeliğin Metotreksat ile Tedavisi: Olgu Sunumu ve Literatürün Gözden Geçirilmesi
Öz
Kornual gebelik mortalite-morbiditesi en yüksek olan ve nadir görülen ektopik gebelik türüdür. Optimal tedavi konusunda fikir birliği olmayıp, literatürde vaka takdimi ya da vaka serileri şeklinde tecrübe paylaşımı söz konusudur. Erken tanı ve tedavi hastanın sağ kalımı ve fertilitenin korunması açısından önemlidir. Bu yazıda, 21 yaşında, G:2, P:1, A:0, sağ kornual gebeliği olan bir olgu sunulmuştur. Fetal kardiyak aktivite olmasına rağmen, hastanın fertilitesini koruma isteğinden dolayı, iki doz sistemik metotreksat uygulanarak tedavisi gerçekleştirilmiştir . Tedavi sonucunda herhangi bir komplikasyonla karşılaşılmamıştır. Bu vaka ışığında, kornual gebeliklerde tanı ve sistemik metotreksat tedavi protokollerinin tartışılması amaçlanmıştır
