Validity Andt Reliability of The Clinical Governance Climate Questionnaire In Turkish
Abstract
Purpose: Clinical governance climate has an important role in providing the organizational development. This study was planned to determine the validity and reliability of the “Clinical Governance Climate Questionnaire” to bring in to the nursing literature . Patients and methods: This study is methodological. The data were collected with “ Clinical Governance Climate Questionnaire CGCQ ” which was developed by Freeman. Study was performed with 200 nurses working in a university hospital. In the validity and reliability of the scale, the validity of language, content validity, item analyses, internal consistency and test-retest methods were used. Results: The language and content validity of the scale was provided. Item analyzes of CGCQ’s outcomes showed that the distinctive to the features of each items. As a result of the analysis to determine the internal consistency, cronbach’s alpha coefficient was found to be higher α=0.89 . The computed test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.94. Conclusion: As a result of the analyses it was found CGCQ is a valid and reliable scale to be used in Turkish society
